P*fect’s Anna Näsström is giving fierceness in a new urban version of the Classical piece “Swan Lake”! Here’s an artical of what she brings to the table, and of the production that premiers the 2nd of december 2011. She’s on page 12…

Tonight it’s the third Klubb: Freshest at Kulturhuset. Special theme for tonigt is “dance”. There will be many dancers with different backgrounds there improvising in a spotlight during the night. From P*Fect: Bambam, Anna “Ling Ling”, Sofiabulous and our guest member and good friend Fredrik.

At 8pm; a documentary namned “Som en Pascha” made by Svante Tidholm. It’s about human rights from a gender perspective, there will be a open discussion after the movie.

Today our workshop in Gothenburg started, Anna and Sofia turned it out. It was a great vibe and energy in class, we are excited about tomorrow!

This is what went down: a sensual, strong combo by Anna and a pompous, feel-good combo by Sofia, Anna finished with a fierce runway class.

Choreographer’s Ball Carnival 2011 October and
LA’s International Waack/Punk/Pose festival

P*fect headed to Los Angeles with one member (Bianca Traum) and guest dancer (Fredrik Quinones). Together they performed at the Choreographer’s Ball Carnival with there piece “Something to give”. A piece choreographed by Bianca and Fredrik specially for this event.

The festival had some incredible workshops with Dallace Zeigler, Princess Lockeroo, Javier Ninja, Carey Yasis and Viktor Manuel.

Yes, It’s been a while since any of us wrote here, we will get better at that.

Let’s start with a resume of what happened 2011 so far: We all battled at Streetstar, Juste debar Sweden, where Anna Ninja was the winner of voguing battle and Sofiabulous 2:nd place in the waacking battle. Benny Ninja and Alyssa Chloe was here for judging and workshops. We created a new piece, “Imprint” which was presented at Celebreation of womanhood. P*fect class at Marikas. Bambam and Bianca walked at a smashing hairshow with one of our favorite hairstylist. P*fect were co arranger for club: “SPUNK goes disco” at Södra teatern. Bambam appeard in Petter Wallenbergs video - “Legendary” feat. Leila K. P*fect summer fierceness camp at Danscenter. Peace and Love festival in Borlänge and Anna walked/danced for a brand a Stockholm fashion week.

TOMORROW, friday 19 aug, it’s the release of Petter Wallenbergs new video - Sunshine Taboo which Anna and Fredrik will appear in. Unfortunetly they will not be at the party since they are on their way to New York. But Bianca and Sofia will be there and will be fabulous. Trädgårn’ starting at 10 p.m.

As written Anna and Fredrik is on their way to New York and next week they will battle in the biggest ball of them all - LATEX BALL. You will be able to follow their adventures here where Anna will be writing.
